Mrinalinee Vanarase is an author and educational facilitator by profession. She is trained in multiple disciplines like philosophy, Sanskrit, ecology, and Indology. She has actively worked in the field of ecological restoration for several years. She brings that experience and the insights she gained from other disciplines into her writings and into her work with children and grown-ups. Mrinalinee works with several institutes as a guest faculty. She conducts courses related to ecology and the environment.
Working with children is her passion. She conducts various ongoing programs, workshops for children as well as for the facilitators working with children through Anandrang, an initiative for children owned by IAPAR. She has several books to her credit for children as well as for grown-ups. Presently she is working as a mentor (knowledge and research) at IAPAR. She loves long walks on hills and interests herself in listening to trees whenever she can.
